Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 12, 2026
Trusty (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides a review management app that helps businesses monitor and reply to Google Business Profile reviews. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account & authentication data — when you connect Google, we receive tokens and basic profile identifiers needed to access your authorized Google Business Profile resources.
- Business Profile data — business name, address, rating summaries, and review content (including author display name, rating, review text, timestamps, and existing owner replies) that you authorize us to read or manage.
- App usage data — basic diagnostics such as crash logs and feature usage that help us keep the product reliable.
2. How we use information
- Show your reviews in an inbox and highlight negative feedback.
- Let you draft and submit replies to reviews you manage.
- Maintain, secure, and improve the Trusty service.
- Respond to support requests and meet legal obligations.
3. Google user data
Trusty’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only request the scopes needed for Google Business Profile review management. We do not sell Google user data, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with infrastructure providers that process it on our behalf (for example hosting or analytics), or when required by law. Those processors may only use the data to provide services to us.
5. Retention
We retain connected account and review data only as long as your account remains connected or as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, or comply with legal requirements. You can disconnect Google access at any time; we will delete or de-identify associated data within a reasonable period afterward, except where retention is required by law.
6. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect tokens and business data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices
- Disconnect Google access from within Trusty or via your Google Account permissions.
- Request access, correction, or deletion of personal data by emailing us.
- Stop using the service at any time.
8. Children’s privacy
Trusty is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
